Bilingual Immigration Paralegal | Walsh & Gilad PLLC
Stephanie Lozano is a dedicated bilingual immigration paralegal with over eight years of experience assisting individuals and families in navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law.
Her journey in the immigration field began in September 2002, when she completed an internship with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), serving through January 2003, prior to the agency’s transition into the Department of Homeland Security. This early exposure to the federal immigration system established the foundation for her professional career and her passion for immigration law.
Stephanie graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2004, further developing her knowledge and interest in the legal field.
Born and raised in New York to Colombian and Ecuadorian immigrant parents, Stephanie has a deeply personal connection to the immigrant experience. Growing up in a multicultural household gave her an appreciation for the sacrifices, determination, and aspirations of families seeking to build better lives in the United States.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Stephanie is committed to bridging language and cultural barriers and ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their immigration journey. Her professional experience includes assisting with family-based immigration petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum applications, and removal defense proceedings.
As a member of the immigration team at Walsh & Gilad PLLC, Stephanie combines her professional experience, cultural background, and compassion to provide attentive and personalized support to clients facing important immigration matters.
For Stephanie, immigration law is more than a profession—it is personal. As the daughter of immigrants, she understands that behind every immigration case is a family, a story, and the hope for a better future. She is committed to helping clients navigate their immigration journeys with dignity, respect, and compassion.
